Matt Murphy was born in Thomson, Georgia in early September of 1973. The world has known no peace nor quiet ever since.
Matt moved to Montgomery, Alabama in 1999 for a couple years' tenure at News/Talk 1170 WACV. In summer of 2002, Matt moved to Birmingham, beginning his Magic City career at WYDE 101.1 FM. As of December 2007, Matt has hung his hat (and sweater vest) here at Alabama's Big Talker 1070-WAPI, bringing you live, loud, and local news/talk coverage you won't find anywhere else.
